My name is Davide de Feo and I am a 38 years old computer engineer from Genoa (Liguria - Italy) with a passion for caving, climbing and photography. In September 2004 I went on a climbing holiday to Kalymnos, a small Greek island. Here I tried kayaking for the first time and was amazed.

The new kayak RUSH from Gumotex company in Breclav won the title of Product of the Year in the category of recreational products at the largest European paddling fair Paddle Expo. The kayak impressed the jury and the visitors of the contracting fair above all with the production technology used, the construction ensuring perfect stability, first-class riding characteristics, versatility of use and, last but not least, environmental friendliness. After last year's victory of the THAYA kayak at the same fair, this repeat victory in the prestigious competition is a huge success for the Czech company.

Never give up. That's the motto of Ukrainian swimmer Mariya Krestyanske, who on August 8 was set to become the first Ukrainian woman to swim the English Channel. Her attempt failed due to adverse conditions. She fought bravely and did not give up, coming out of the water only after repeated recommendations from the team. Through the Alaska wilderness to the south right to the polar circle

2022-09-26T13:45:12+00:00

Where the silence is the loudest, far beyond the Arctic Circle, and above all far from a signal, a warm shower and a soft bed, we set out to float the Alatna River. Under our map it said, "No roads or trails in this area". We were equipped with boats, food in bear-proof containers and pepper spray. The plan was to cross the continental divide and sail 300 km south to the Arctic Circle.
